For we walk by faith, not by sight.
2 Corinthians 5:7
I’ve been doing a Bible study from LGG called Faith over Perfection and it’s about the story of Abraham, ultimately the father of faith. Abraham kept walking in faith in every direction that God gave him, even without having the full picture of God’s plans or seeing much evidence from God’s promises. It’s a rich testimony that teaches us much in many ways, there’s always something new to learn from his life and how he honoured God in everything he did.
During this life season and through this Bible study, my overplanning self has been challenged to leave my needs for constant proof or a clear explanation about everything and give a step of faith according to God’s directions, even when I don’t have the full picture of his plan. This has been an intense year with health challenges, a house move, and the upcoming launch of the studio’s online store, all amidst this crazy pandemic. However, none of this matters, because in the end, his word should be enough for us to walk in faith and obedience, don’t you think? How about you, what does walk by faith mean to you?
Have a wonderful week!
