However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”
the things God has prepared for those who love him.
I Corinthians 2:9
I’ve been meditating quite a lot about joy lately. After all those years walking with the Lord, for many reasons that only recently I’ve been able to understand more clearly, I must confess that I haven’t learned how to be content no matter the circumstances, like Paul says in Philippians 4:11. But I am praying and seeking, and, because God never leaves us in the same place for long, and because He has healing for all of those who love Him, I know He’ll bring something new to my life.
What I’ve learned this week in one of my Bible studies is that joy is the satisfaction we feel when we pursue our hope in Christ. That hope brings a spark of joy no matter what. And this verse in Corinthians brings me much hope and strengthens my faith.
This artwork was my humble attempt of an abstract painting to reflect something unseen, precious, beautiful, colourful and rich, prepared for those who love God. May we learn to always put our hope in Him!
Now, it’s with much joy that I announce that the Olive Tre Art Studio Online Shop is open! And for a limited time, all fine art prints will ship free worldwide.
